Our Team.

ImNotOK was founded by people who believe that no one should have to navigate difficult times alone. Combining experience across mental health, counselling and the advertising industry, our co-founders created ImNotOK to make peer support more accessible, personal and relevant to the people who need it.

Their shared belief is simple: sometimes, having someone who listens, understands and can relate to your experience can make all the difference. That belief sits at the heart of everything we do.

Having experienced mental health challenges throughout my adult life, Nick is passionate about helping and empathising with others who are “Not OK”. Paul and Nick founded this support network having got through difficult times with each other’s understanding of what we were going through.

Poppy is the co-founder of ImNotOK and an integrative counsellor, with 18 years’ experience working in media agencies, first in digital media and later in agency marketing and new business.

She also led the Mental Health Ally team at mSix&Partners, a WPP agency, deepening her commitment to supporting mental health in the workplace.

She understands both the energy and pressures of the industry, and how easily people can keep going while quietly struggling. Her longstanding passion for supporting people with their mental health, including close friends and family, led her to retrain as a therapist.

She co-founded ImNotOK alongside Nick and Paul, bringing warmth, curiosity and a belief that nobody should have to struggle alone.

With a background in marketing, Jessica is passionate about using communication to make conversations around mental health more open, accessible and human.

Her previous work in the mental health sector and personal experience gave her a strong understanding of the importance of creating safe spaces where people feel heard, understood and able to ask for support.

At ImNotOK, Jessica brings the organisation’s mission to life through marketing, communications and volunteer training. She helps raise awareness of peer support, creates engaging content and works behind the scenes to coordinate training and events, helping connect more people with the support they need.

Jessica believes that supporting mental wellbeing isn't just about having the right services available - it's also about creating a culture where people feel comfortable saying, “I'm not OK,” and know that someone will listen.
